This card posted at Gosport on 8 Nov.29, was intended to travel over a revised European Route via Cologne - Nuremberg - Salonika& then the original route. This revised route was put into operation on 2 Nov. 29 but was changed again on 15 Nov. when the route was London - Paris by Air, Paris - Athens by Express Train & Athens - India by Air reducing the time to 5 3/4 days. As the Karachi backstamp is 21 Nov. 29. This letter card missed the 2nd flight via Cologne etc. & went on the 15 Nov. via Paris - Athens to India. | £35.00 | |
